Pauline Oosterhoff is a fellow at the Institute of Development Studies, Brighton. She has over 20 years of international experience in public health program management, research, M&E and training. She is a dynamic, creative professional with a PhD in medical anthropology and master degrees in political science and public health. Her thematic specialties are in sexual and reproductive health and rights, with strong additional expertise in gender, violence, community mobilization, women’s empowerment, harm reduction and indigenous and minority peoples health.  In addition to her research work, Ms. Oosterhoff is a professional media producer who has conceptualized, designed managed and edited award winning documentary films, installations, soundscapes and performances in over a dozen countries.
