Lee Knifton is Reader and Co-Director of The Centre for Health Policy, within Strathclyde University International Pubic Policy Institute. He has considerable practical experience working in the National Health Service and the Voluntary Sector in mental health, addictions, prisons and community justice. He is Deputy Editor of the Journal of Public Mental Health and Co-Editor of the book “Public Mental Health: Global Perspectives”. He has been involved in leading local and international health policy initiatives and is currently collaborating with the WHO on health rights and with New York University. He enjoys directing a national arts festival about health and human rights that has engaged 100,000 members of the public.
