‘MEASURING THE NEIGHBOURHOOD’
WHAT IS
‘MEASURING THE NEIGHBOURHOOD’?

At City Health 2014, the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences will demonstrate how citizens can become actively involved in assessing the health of their neighbourhood via their smartphone.

WHAT YOU'LL EXPERIENCE
measuring---bar
For the first time at the City Health International event, we will be engaging the delegates into an active, field experience. Conference delegates are invited to actively participate in this open data experiment by performing observations on the streets close to the conference site, using a smartphone as an input device.

During the final plenary, a report of the activity will be presented by the University. The gathered data will be visualized directly during the event, so a collaborative health measurement mapping will be created.

WHAT IT TAKES...
