Dr Tetiana Deshko has been working in HIV/AIDS since 2001. As a part of Alliance for Public Health in Ukraine she led Field Programs Department and achieved success developing and implementing national HIV/AIDS program among key populations reaching annually to over 250 000 people, that resulted in decline in new infections in the country. Ukraine program is considered to be a model for the EECA region and is internationally acknowledged to be among best response practices in concentrated HIV epidemics. Starting from 2011 Tetiana has been managing international and multi-country projects in Asia, East Africa and EECA region. Tetiana Deshko was among the initiators of the city HIV/TB programs in EECA to develop effective and sustainable city response models. She holds PhD in social sciences.
