Rita Gisler is the Managing Director and founder of the Swiss Network of Age-Friendly Cities. She has been working with Swiss cities and communities since 2014 as a self-employed consultant and has been supporting them in developing old-age policies. She has gained extensive experience in caring for the needs of older people as the Head of the Office of Ageing in the city of Berne. She is also an executive board member in several organizations which provide services for senior citizens. Her professional background is in Economics with postgraduate studies in Corporate Development and Public Law.
