Both individual submissions and proposals for sessions should be broadly in line with the conference theme ‘Developing healthy responses in a time of change’. The programme committee will consider all the submissions and inform of their decisions about inclusion in the conference programme within the timescales detailed below.

The main conference language is English. There will be some translation into Russian, as well as possibly some sessions in Russian. You may submit abstracts and session proposals in either language.

The diagram below shows how the conference is structured (click on the diagram to zoom in).

The plenary sessions will address high-level issues associated with the theme of the conference, with the parallel sessions being used to discuss more practical issues and to showcase good practice. In addition there will be a balance between research, policy and practice – especially where these elements overlap and are informed by one another. Some of the parallel sessions at the conference will focus on regional and local issues, with others of a more general interest to those from elsewhere in the world.

A list of headline topics and specific issues that might make up the programme can be found here. The list is not exhaustive and other topics can be considered.
