The team at the Programme on Substance Abuse of the Agència de Salut Pública de Catalunya
The award recognises the efforts by the team over the past decade and more to maintain the principles of harm reduction, assisting large numbers of people from marginalised groups, including prolific offenders, to access drug treatment and other health services, as well as contributing to the development of the health in all policies approach, adopted by the government, in Catalunya. In all of this we consider the programme to have been genuinely innovative and responsive to rapidly changing circumstances and needs. The will award was presented to the team during the afternoon session of the conference, on Thursday 5th November 2015.
