Two years experience in public health and education in developing countries (India, Nepal). Twenty-five years of clinical, teaching and research experience at the Geneva University Hospitals in the field of substance use, addiction, HIV and harm reduction. Vice-president of the Swiss Society of Addiction Medicine. Vice-president of the Swiss Federal Commission on Addiction-related Questions. Consultant for the WHO, Council of Europe, Swiss Federal Office of Public Health for addiction policy and drug treatment issues. Member of the Swiss federal expert group on medical cannabinoids, founding member of the Swiss Taskforce for Cannabinoids in Medicine. Over 50 publications in peer-reviewed journals.
